The current SpecRacer 1.9 Ford engine will be phased out after the 2017 season in favour of a 1.6 Ford. the 1.6 cars are the Gen3.
I wonder if that is the same 1.6 as I my Fiesta ?
They probably are running out the Escort engines.

IIRC that was one of the reasons given for the engine change. Of course having more power can't be a bad thing either.

Goddamn that sucks. 
Waited all weekend for the P1 race. Good on Jim Downing for the pole and P4 finish, glad to see he's still out there.
10 car field a bit disappointing as well as the caution laps. That Kohler looked good for a while.

Yeah, a friend of mine made the trip down to crew for Rob. That's how I found out that they were screwed.
