Scrubbing loosened paint off of plastic trim.

Any ideas for scrubbing loosened paint off of Miata headlamp trim parts without scratching the plastic?

There has to be something better than my thumbnail.  

Pressure washer close up?

Why not!  Let me fire it up and....

Ok.  I am afraid of blowing/breaking the part off of the hood.   How about...

I could chase it across the yard!  Maybe not.   It was worth a try.

Depending on the paint...oven cleaner. Works on enamel. It's how model car guys strip old kits. Brake fluid is also an option.

I have found that a Popsicle stick is working pretty well.  At least after I get rid of the Popsicle.

Over cleaner works great to strip paint, but It will likely melt plastic. Test on a scrap.

I'd look into what they thin automotive paint with. Acetone I think?

Ultrasonic cleaner?

I would like to try that, but the basin on my ultrasonic cleaner is way too small.
