Seized spark plug

I've got a problem. I'm doing a head gasket on a GM 3.4L. The car was sitting for a while and the cylinder that had the leak corroded the plug and it's seized tight. Anyone have any tips?

Copius amounts of PB Blaster. After soaking for a day or two, add copius amounts of PB Blaster. Repeat as necessary.

I agree with what SVreX said but I would use the acetone/atf mix in like a 3:2 ratio

That stuff is scary. It made my rusty parts smoke. And heat up.

What do you mix that stuff in? I've tried it before in a little squirt bottle and it didn't work to well. Maybe I didn't have the mix right.

I got a squirt bottle from the hardware store that actually worked really well. I was surprised. I've been mulling over the idea of the glass medicine droppers that you see lots of supplements and stuff in. I've never actually needed a sprayer. A few drops would do the trick. That stuff is seriously scary. The mix is 1:1 but you can adjust it to thin it down even more.

keep the acetone/ atf mixed during use, it will separate if left to stand

add a ball bearing or two in the bottle to add in keeping it mixed.

I keep my ATF/acetone combo in an old Seafoam can

Was the A/A the missing piece of the puzzle?

That stuff really is scary good. I just use WD-40 these days. It seems to have the most uses.

Can someone enlighten me on the acetone/ ATF trick please?
