Whatever happened, the media seems to be giving her a pass. Can't find any mention of it outside of here.

Any Links so We Can Understand what Exactly and Who Exactly You Are Referring To?
No Names, no Specific Race? Just “Her” And “NASCAR”?

Sometimes when we get a little older we get a bit crotchety.
Pretty sure Sirius has a “Best of Sinatra” station you may enjoy.
I don't have much care for poems written by racist attorneys and I find being a prisoner of war a fitting role for them.

Dude, she's 16 years old singing the national anthem on a massive stage. Think she might've been just a little nervous? There are more important things to get worked up about.

Somebody steal your morning coffee or pee in your Cerritos! LOL I did see the anthem and agree there were words missed or sang out of order. I’m pretty old and old school when it comes to The National Anthem. I think it should be sung straight forward without a lot of interpretation as some try to do. Some of the best renditions have been done by members of the armed services. I will say NASCAR is one of the last vestiges of patriotic America with the presenting of the colors, invocation and meaningful national anthem. Too many other sports and events treat it as an afterthought or necessary nuisance. I don’t think you will ever see a NASCAR driver or crew take a knee at a NASCAR event.
I didn't watch the singing of the National Anthem at that race so I don't know what went wrong but I heard an interesting interview with a big name singer (exactly who, I forget) who said that singing the anthem at a NASCAR race is one of the toughest gigs he's ever done. For starters the National Anthem has a very wide range and it's easy to start too high if you're signing a cappella and run out of range at the end. The other challenge is that out of sight, below the camera is someone telling you to speed up or slow down to time the ending with the flyover.
