After all of the thrashing we did in the fall to get the LeGrand ready for the PRI Trade Show, we took a little break from the car. The PRI show was fun, but we’re more about go than show. Are you running without shoulder belts here? Surprised at how much your upper body moves.
Are the tires spinning up coming off some of the corners? In any case the car looks pretty planted.
Yea, good catch---I was running with just a lap belt for this first session, as I wasn't sure how long I was going to be running/jumping out of car.
There's a little bit of wheelspin, but that's mostly when I bump the curbing a little.
Ahh...the rear brakes really did need to be bled. Much firmer pedal now.
What tires are you running with that car? Is it some super soft compound? Did you really need to cool down the tires after one lap?
I really want a LeGrand now.
Hoosier R25B compound slicks is what we Solo on. Some guys run them on the track for time trials but they probably would get too hot during a full race.
That steering wheel is crazy small.
You seem to have to take your hand off the wheel a lot to position your hands.
Still that thing is sweet.
