but you can't do it yourself and still have a warranty in most cases.
This is not one of those cases. Ford Racing parts installed by licensed dealers/vendors come with complete warranties. The Shelby GT could be ordered straight off the showroom floor performance-wise for less, and was, often. The second-hand market on those isn't strong for a reason. This Focus looks to be no different.
Buy it because you like it, but a value it is not.

I just wish I could ask him "WTF were you thinking with the Olds Aurora engine in the completely new Series 1?" Granted, I love the S1.....
GLHS Shelbys have nothing to do with K-cars.
My bad, missed where the L-Body of the Omni/Charger wasn't in the same category as the Daytona, Spirit, etc.....So, I'll rephrase to not offending the 80's turbo dodge crowd....even if I personsally add to the rarity by scrapping them.
Edit: I no longer like the shelby fukus......they did away with the aventador exhaust tip. Thats grounds for hating right there.

The Aurora engine wasn't his first choice for the Series 1.

Hmmm, thats good to know.......I know it was a light mill, but that seemed to limit their potential. I liked oogling over the Series 1 with the centrifugal setup on it this year though......wish I could have driven it.

Yeah, I wish I could recall what it was, but I seem to remember he had an engine deal about wrapped up and the supplier backed out. It's also one of the multitude of reasons the car was really late to market.
