I keep wanting to do this but have a serious lack of words to describe my garage, besides listing everything in there...300 words... about my car?
Just tell us what you like to do in there. Maybe how you saved space or budget on something. Tell us why you like your shop more than your friend's shop.
A little bird told me we're a little light on entries so far. 300 words and some photos isn't a big price for maybe $1600 in shop supplies!
My shop is just a messy corner of my basement. Only have one picture since I'm currently having the asbestos removed from my old steam pipes and I can't go down there. Does this count?
In reply to PseudoSport :
My garage looks incredibly similar to your basement, right down to the "engine on a stand that I'll probably never get around to putting in anything this decade"
In reply to Ed Higginbotham :
That pic is intimidating. Your shop is clean, lots of cool cabinets and tools.
Would a "build" thread be okay as my small garage is nearing completion .

I wish that was my garage. That's one of the entries we received last year in the same contest. Don't let the photo intimidate you!
In reply to Donebrokeit :
As long as it's a 300-word build thread.
ehh give me some time, I need to clean it a bit before I can take any worthy photos...
I need to purchase a camera for some decent photos, then work on making a 300 word description, which probably isn't the worst thing. Inside and outside pictures?
Outside photos are totally legal. Whatever you think makes your shop look the coolest.
Yes, enter and enter often!

What if I only have 25 hours of video of building a challenge Saab Truck with an excellent group of fellow GRMers in my shop?

I guess I need to find a way to convert that to 5 photos and 300 words...
I wasn't going to enter, but you talked me into it. Email sent. Here's hoping I've got a decent chance.
If your shop is as cool as your van, you've got a shot.

Ok, I did it! Turns out I had 1,000+ words!
Finished the lights last night and now I am working on the floor, other than that just odds and ends.

Things have gone horribly wrong...
Upgrading to a thicker floor? I hope.
I ordered new lights hopefully I can enter because my shop is definitely the most interesting. Not sure 300 words will be enough.
