I bought I bought this in 1962 and restored it in the same Navy Hobby shop. It looks the same today except a lot dustier ps it's been in more than 30 vintage races so far.
DeMar Mk2 , Devin body, 430 cu in Chevy small block. Hilborn fuel injection, Triumph TR 3 front spindles, Jaguar IRS spine drive knock off mag wheels.
I never finished out of first place when I drove it but the owner never beat my Black Jack.

That picture makes it look like you are running the "Newey Rake" that seems to be all the rage in F1 these day.
This past weekend at the 24 hour Lemons race at CMP. Both cars started the race, both took the checker flag. Finished 6th and 12th in class. That's good enough.
Frenchy - nice pipe work, but I think the fabricator that made these wins. Extra points of you can figure out what race car they are on.
