Ran in a crazy event this last weekend - Skid Plate racing. Essentially take any 4 cylinder FWD car and replace the rear wheels with metal plates. Then take 30 or so of these cars and put them on a track. Much fun ensues!

This was started by a guy named Robert Rice and he helped put a car together for me. It was a ton of fun!

I have way too many photos and videos to fit them all on a forum post, but if you are interested, you can see the rest of them: http://wp.me/p41BEt-4r

How many times did you spin? :D

Haha umm, no comment/ the tires were cold/ first time in the car/ other racing driver excuses. I must have spun at least 3 or 4 times in the race, the first of which caused a fairly large crash. In practice/ qualifying it was a bigger mess. If you watch the video, around lap 9 or 10 I really hooked up and kept the car pointing it the right way. I still need to work on building my speed up but not spinning is probably more important.

I love the data being fed to the camera.

ha, thanks - used my Aim SOLO DL because . . . why not? Funny to confirm how slow we are all going but it actually still is useful to see. I wish my Accord had OBDII for more data.
