Stockish 8.1 liter on E36 M3 tires? Well, if you're going to be a one trick pony, rolling burnouts aren't the worst trick you could have picked! But i doubt the thing is seriously fast. Just seriously engaging/amusing/conversation-starting etc. Same reason i think about putting an "only" 300hp iron-block v10 and 4.56s in the dodge ram sitting outside.

You're right, it's not the perfect sleeper, since car enthusiasts and drag racers would spot that and suspect big power, but for a heavy majority of people, or ones that miss that, would be very surprised.
