I sometimes wonder when the people that take pictures at copart are thinking. "really... you want me to take pictures of this....."
Honestly, if there were still a physical VIN plate in that pile, I'd pay some amount (but probably less than the fees involved) for it, just to say I owned a Ford GT.

I'm still trying to decide if this is better or worse than that most of a Porsche body and vin with wood wheels that BAT promoted a while back. I bet this GT would have a better ROI in the long run.
Bwahaha I LOL'd. Notice that the color is listed as "BURN."
It made me think of "G.I. Jimbo" but this is actually much worse.
Also it shows that the VIN plate was replaced, so it's not original...

That's my favorite part as well.
The transmission internals sitting on the ground is just so sad. And I'm telling myself that's not a ribcage I can see in the middle of the pile.
I wonder how they even got it to the yard, and why they then dumped it on the ground to get the pics? I'm sure they used a roll-off instead of a roll-back.
I am really trying to convince myself that there is SOMETHING in that pile worth the minimum bid and shipping ($60 + shipping whatever the part is)
How can a shaft of gears be that cleanly burned out of their case. I bet this was stripped of the most valuable parts the set fire with a few pieces added in to look like it used to be a car. Insurance Fraud?

No tire kickers because no tires.
How the hell did it burn down that far. I've seen cars burn before, and even left unattended (power line was over the vehicle so the fire brigade couldn't put it out) there was a whole lot more left than that. These things were aluminium not magnesium!
With the wildfires we get around SoCal, when a car burns, all the aluminum melts, pretty crazy. That explains how the gear cluster could end up homeless.

from what i see $60 bid fast becomes $400ish on copart
