Not exactly on topic maybe, but small and an I-6

Citation? The X-body? (Sorry!)

Out of all of the cars posted I stared at this one the longest.
Even though it wasn't particularly fast, I really liked my MX-6 LS. It just needed about 50 more hp.
Was the 240 sx available with a 6 ? I always liked the look of those cars and figuared that it with a 2.5 - 3.0 6 would be a fun car that was reasnably practical and sporty at the same time.

I always thought that was a very good looking car. Nice lines, nice wheels, heck it still looks fresh today. In fact, I can see some RX-8 in the front end.
On the subject of jeeps, I honestly think a cherokee counts as 'big engine little car' with the 4.0 6cyl. If you get a 2wd manual they are not more than 3000 lbs and actually move pretty good.

The last years of the 240 almost got the motor the now Z got but it never happened. There is one prototype from the factory in some Nissan warehouse.

Dam that would have been a great ride. It is to bad they stopped production. I could never figure out why the stopped making the hatch version. The later ones were only sedan / coups. The fact that the early ones have a hatch makes them something that I could live with.

There were vg30e equipped 200sx's in the mid 80's.

Road tripping my FD rx7 and stopped at jax air base just north of Little Rock while I still had access under my dad, coming through the gate late at night got stopped at the gate by the MP asking me what body kit I had on my mx6. :D 19-20 year old kid, and I had shaved all the badges off the car. He was a bit shocked when I told him it was a 7.
I had one of these with the 3.0L V6: It was mildly amusing around town. Awful on the highway since there was no overdrive, but it was the most stripped down base model so it was light weight. It would haze the front tires from a stop no problems.
