Got a call the other day, from the chap I'd sold my Alfetta sedan to, a year and a half after coincidentally recognising the car parked outside of a supermarket.
He's moving interstate and offered to sell the Alfa back to me, at a price I couldn't really refuse.
On the other hand, I'm probably one among a very small pool of weirdos who would even want an Alfetta sedan in the first place
I always find it odd coming across my old cars, but their so unique after I have them, their impossible to miss. There was my old 83 Mustang that kept popping up just to the west. Contemplated buying it for $500.00, but decided against it at the time.
There was the 99 P71 that the old lady was driving down the highway on my way to work. That made me laugh. The dual flowmasters growling as she steadily mosied down the highway at 55 mph. With a bad heater core, I'm sure that vehicle is still circulating. I still miss her...
My 92 Ranger STX that I sold to my neighbor for $500.00 after it was wrecked. He wanted to sell it back to my for $800.00 because he changed the brakes....? Ended up selling to to some guy and I had to teach him how to put it into 4x4 with a wrench from underneath the truck.
Fun times.

I would take an Alfetta... have not seen one that was not returning to the earth in a decade though

You're a GRMer. You probably secretly lust after yugos, too. I bet you even have a list of possible drivetrains picked out just in case you might stumble across a volga.

Well, I've got it back now. It's a bit too loud and drives like a truck after my Saab 900. Loads of fun, though
