My New Edge GT just blew itself out, and I need to replace it very soon (my daily).
Car's never hitting the track, so I dont need an extreme unit. I've heard top options as Mishimoto and Fluidyne, with mixed stories about them.
While that's happening, what else can and should be easily replaced with the radiator out?
I never noticed any issues with the stock radiator in my street driven SN95. You should be happy with the options you listed but I'd be ok just putting a parts store stock replacement in for less money. The other obvious thing to replace is hoses if they seem like they're starting to deteriorate. I'd probably take the opportunity to clean any packed in filth out of the fins on your AC condenser or whatever else is in front of the radiator too so it gets good air going to it.
My car had a Fluidyne when I bought it, it started leaking.
I'd buy a Mishimoto, lifetime warranty and alot of people I trust run them.
I'm currently using a Speedway universal radiator for my LS swap, no issues. If I had had more time and money when I was doing the swap, I would have ordered a Mishimoto.
