Gotta be a ton of fun
Genuine Prodrive Group 'N' car from 97, imported in 99 along with it's sister car. Both now far more developed in Open
You have to be brave to run a relativly stock modern Audi in rally, electrical gremlins anyone!
I don’t know why Burmeister has gone back to the G2 Protégé rather than the monster G5 Mazdaspeed 3, probably as he runs Max Attack

This is Avery Lake. The rally runs 2 stages along the west shoreline road. My group took fishing equipment and watched the racing while fishing. We could see about 3/4 of a mile of the course. It is one of the best spots to watch the Sno Drift that I have found in my 15 years of attendance.
This year I went up 2 days before the rally. I got the route maps and drove much of it on thursday. It was fun and it is amazing the speed that the racers carry on that icy narrow course. There were spots that I was uncomfortable going 20 mph in a 4X4 with good snow tires.

The Mazda 3 is still eligible for MaxAttack. I am guessing he ran the Protege because all the power in the world in a 2wd car is not going down on snow and ice. The Protege is probably easier to drive on ice!
