A note.  That is not a dig.  I have only entered one SCCA Solo II event, and given that I was the only car in FP, I was not competing with anybody.  All other autocrosses I have entered were free-for-all non scoring, non classed, track day style events.

18-something.

It was at a Friday night event and as I launched down the strip in the dark desert, I realized I had no idea 1) what the finish line looked like and 2) where to go after that. Luckily, there was a faster car (a stock 1996 Miata) in the other lane so I was able to follow him :)

2. Go karts, commercial and few years ago won an all day thing with a local legit gokart track, arrive/drive

7. Slot car racing (as child and adult)

Probably it, unless you count a driving experience at Tank Town USA in GA driving an APC around a mud and water course.
