Even more crazy is that Portland and Seattle receive a ton of rain and lots of mold and moss grow on cars,
It is very possible to rust out a car in Seattle by letting it sit on (constantly wet with dew) grass and/or under a cover that retains moisture. You still have to keep the car dry in storage.
