So, Just Got a 2007 MINI Cooper S....

Very Happy, but with a slight mishap in getting the car here which will be fixed in the next couple of weeks.

The wife and I will probably autocross this one together, and I went through the project MINI postings and had a couple of questions I was wondering if any of you pick up the answers.

1. Was the front sway bar replaced?
2. What size rims were better, the 16x6.5 or the 17x7s?
3. Did you replace the exhaust, battery, ect?

Basically did the car get the full run of mods available in stock class.

The car is not perfect for autocross, it has the sunroofs and the leather package that adds weight, but on the plus side it did get the LSD option.

Thanks ahead of time for any info you guys might dig up (employees at GRM included).

A) No, I stuck with the stock 24mm sport front bar. 2) I ran the 17"s and was the fastest MINI in the country on those...that said, there were 3 cars faster than me at Nats and they had 16"s.
iii) Exhaust was replaced with a sportier version, but the battery was not. I did replace the shocks--and that's something I'd recommend.
