My wife is not a hard core car person at all, but has enjoyed the a large variety of cars we've owned over the years. Anyway, she says I want to buy a first generation SLK for myself to enjoy on weekends, take to work once in awhile, etc. She says you'll like it to. So I off handedly say, get an SLK32 AMG, not thinking she's even listening. Next thing you know she shows me a 2003 with only 20k miles on it. She loved it, and now it sits next to the '64 Elan in the garage. Oh and it is a blast to drive for me as well.
That escalated quickly. Well done!
Played perfectly. Now be carful. All the single guys here are going to start asking if she has a sister.

Yeah, pics or GTFO.
Pics will need to wait a couple days. Wife took it on a road trip to visit her girl friend. At least that's what she told me! I have to admit I did played it pretty good, didn't I?
Lotus is a great driver needing cosmetics that can wait years for a restoration. I really don't care what it looks like because it drives sooooooooo good!
As a side note I actually did the intercooler design, and supercharger packaging for the SLK32 for AMG back in '99, so I guess I was destined to have one at some point in my life.
