Yep, it's that very car. (For the rest of the class, it's blue.)
The first E46 M3 that I ever saw was dark blue with baseball glove colored seats. It was beautiful and that's the car that I imagine any time someone mentions an M3.

Laguna Seca blue, I hope. Well done! One of the best sports car deals on the planet in my opinion.
Niiice. That's one of the others on my bucket list to own. I think the wife would let me do it too if we had the money and the garage sapce.
Laguna Seca Blue was my favorite car color ever back around my high school days. I probably need to own one of these at some point in my life. Congrats, I'm jelly

Nice!
C'mon give us all the details already.

A friend mentioned that a mutual friend was thinking about selling his E46 M3. Conveniently I had been thinking about getting one. I know and have seen this particular car. It's clean--really clean--and very, very well maintained. Plus I really love that dark blue.
Truth be told, I was looking for one a few years back, back when they were $25k cars. But I bought my Porsche 911 instead for like half that. Now with the other half of that original sum I'll have an M3, too.
Congrats. A buddy of mine just did a fly and drive to pick one up this past weekend. I got to do a short drive in it and was pretty amazed at how much more modern and zingy the S54 motor was than my S52 M coupe. Oh and love the blue, too.
