So, before I just head to Harbor Freight and buy some stuff, is there a better solution?

I bought Oslo rails off of Amazon. If you check the colors, sometimes one color is cheaper. I think a quarter, 3/8ths, and have set cost me $18.

There's a number of these sorts of threads active or semi-active on this forum currently which tells me there's always interest in this sort of thing.

Mine are stored on their side since they're in the shallow drawer. The $1 socket rails do fine for me, just need to be diligent about putting them back.

Plus it's easier to take the whole rail to the car if I don't know what size I need.

I just started using the peg type socket organziers from HF. They are in the top of the tool box and seem fine. Already spent more money on ebay replacing individual sockets that I'd lost over the years.

The wrench holders were a fail though-too high in the drawer and interfered with opening and closing.
