If you're not doing the Mitty this weekend (I am,) then there is a Porsche meet in Townsend. IMHO, either scenario is a much better way to spend time than cruising Pigeon Forge and camping the sidewalk in lawnchairs. YMMV.

I'm pretty much the same age as you and have more 70s american iron than anything else....with a little German, British, Japanese, etc for good measure. All I'm saying is I enjoy it all regardless of when I was born and what I was exposed too (I'm a recovering Toyota fanboi from the 90s and still own a first gen MR2). One day I went to a Porsche meet in the morning with my 911, and an old iron type festival in the evening with my 75 Chevy 4x4.....that was a fun and interesting day.

And the flake. Don't forget the flake in the paint. Oh, motherberkeleyin, yeah!

Older brother of a girl I knew in HS had a late 60s (69?) Boss 302 Mustang, was blue but not grabber, with 'COLD BLUE STEEL' on the front window.

And it was still cool.
