When I was a kid, my neighbor tried pulling out his bumper by doing that with a chain and a tree. Tree was rotted inside, came down on the Nova.

My broke-ass nephew hit a curb in his craptastic Subaru Loyale and bent the right front LCA pretty badly, enough that the tire was rubbing. So he could nurse it 10 miles up the road to the local indy Subaru shop and get it patched up, we chained it to a construction dumpster and boinked it back into place using reverse.
He promptly took off for a 500+ mile weekend roadtrip to see his ugly, depressing, psycho girlfriend.
