Joplin's 356 was the coolest feature of my visit to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame years ago...
I think John Lennon had a Tickford Mini.

Yeah, there are a ton of car/music connections. A ton.
I just got back from New York and spent a little time with Brandon Lee Lewis. He had more for the list, too.
And edit: Here's me and Brandon. This was taken at like 2:00 in the morning--right after we both realized we'd need alternate plans to get home since the 1 train wasn't available. Photo taken within a few feet of the Hess triangle.
Check out Fu Machu, too. They're obviously into cars--and vans, El Caminos, vintage skateboard and other cool stuff.
Not sure if this video is official or not (probably not) but it's still cool:
Jeff Beck, comes to mind.

Edit: Found something about his collection.
Laramie Dean is another musician friends who's into cars. He has an old cruiser convertible. Here he is in action. Love the jacket.

In reply to David S. Wallens :
Ohh, ho, ho, ho: "Eric Clapton, whom Beck was a long time guitarist for..."
Jeff Beck is a dirty-hands kind of guy. He built his first electric guitar himself. That's where he picked up his bendy playing style - the fretting was slightly off, so he'd just bend them till they were true.
I finally saw Alice Cooper live a couple of years ago--opening act for Iron Maiden. As an added bonus, it was when Orianthi was with the band.

Brian Johnson of AC/DC is really into blower Bentley’s. Involved in vintage racing, too.
Pink Floyd’s Nick Mason is also a major collector. Bunch of rare Ferraris (250 GTO, f40, BB/LM, etc etc) and old LeMans cars.

Yup, we know Brian and Brenda. Back in the day he let us drive his Lotus Cortina at Daytona for a story. Always been a big supporter of ours. Super-cool guy, too.

John Bonham was a car guy. Check out his segment in The Song Remains The Same movie.
Funkmaster Flex, a DJ. He has a pretty decent car collection and is a known gearhead.
