I believe the director is the same one who filmed Grand Prix.

The Hire was a series of films with different directors, with Clive Owen as the main character. Frankenheimer (the director of Grand Prix and Ronin) did "Ambush". My favorite is Guy Ritchie's "Star", which has nothing to do with why I own the hero car in question.
I watched Ronin again last night.
I still have the BMW dvd for that movie. I guess I can chuck it if is on YouTube
