Looking at going to Daytona in a couple of weeks with NASA SE. The E36 is a fairly well prepped track rat HPDE car, no longer street driven. It's M3 suspension in the corners, GC coilovers, PFC08s, etc but still has the M52 in it. Running 225/45/17 RS4s. The S52 is still on the stand waiting for winter. I've been running a 3.64 LSD and haven't run out of gear at VIR, RRR, CMP, etc. Driving style is a bit too conservative, and not setting any lap records. Running the stock ecu with Shark Tune, made 200 hp at the wheels on Bimmer Performance Centers dyno a couple of years back.
Has anyone run both VIR and Daytona? Curious how much faster (top speed) Daytona will be then VIR? I've got an unproven unknown history (150k mile auto car) 3.38 LSD sitting in the garage but would like to just leave the 3.64 in it. But I also don't want to spend 3 days bouncing off the limiter in 5th either.
