A friend recommended spray on truck bed liner as being better to slow/stop the formation of rust, stating it was tougher than regular undercoating. I recently did some floor pan repairs on my Kelmark GT, used the bed liner on the inside. It is a lot tougher than rubberized undercoating, but it it better a sealing out the elements that cause rust ? Once I get the car off the ground a few inches I need to hit the underside, do I go with bed liner or undercoating ?

Thanks Steve

Shake and shoot bedliner is crap in my opinion (I have sworn not to use it the last several times). Not durable. Now the stuff from a shop like Line-X, etc. is IMHO, tough.

Yep. Just tried it myself on a subwoofer enclosure. It sucks compared to raptor or under coating.

Truck is getting one or the other. Raptor kit less than a hundred dollars. But dont know the air compressor requirements for spraying it.

I know some are using the roller/brush type bedliner as undercoating. If prepped right it should hold up very well and double as sound/heat insulation.
