Saw this on the latest Flying Miata post http://www.lizardskin.com/

Anybody have experience with this stuff? I'm dealing with a 1900 degree rotary exhaust and would like to not be cooked in the paddock.

Any feedback? Bueller?

We'll have some in a few weeks First time we've tried it.

I can report that the water-based cleanup is easy.

so water will kill it?

Does the water-based paint in your house come off when it rains? It'll be fine once it dries.

Does this come in spraybombs, or compressor-and-paint-gun only?

This was compressor and paint gun. Given the size of the nozzle on the gun, I doubt you'd be able to get it to work in a spraybomb.

I was wondering because I was actually thinking of this for a liveaboard boat. It's hard to insulate those. A think a thin layer of something like this would be perfect

That is a bit more GRM, but read the while thing! Latex paint is not for insulating rotary exhaust areas.
