I just ran out to see if somebody hid it in my garage & was severely disappointed...Hope it is found and returned intact!
EDIT: Apparently they tried to steal the whole trailer, but for some reason couldn't get it off the truck or something, so they opened the doors and drove the car out of the trailer, while the owner was at a wedding reception at a Holiday Inn or something in Columbia SC. The theives even peeled out in the parking lot with it when they left

Probably stickers. Yes, somebody makes stickers to look like bullet holes...
Normally thieves are after trailers and hope for tools/equipment they can sell off easily. Targeting a car like this seems suspicious. Someone wanted THAT car and knew right where it was.

True, but I typically see those paired with rebel flags on "pickem up" trucks, not on aircooled Porsche race cars.
IMO there's no way this doesn't surface soon. The racing community is small and close knit, as it the aircooled Porsche owner community, the aircooled Porsche owners who track their cars smaller, and more closely knit yet. An E stock car is not something that you want to steal if your intent is to use it, or even part it, within 10 years and not get caught.
Good deal on the recovery. I hope they also catch/caught the thieves.
BTW, I am turned off by forums where everyone feels the need to list all the cars they used to own in their signatures. Are they really that insecure in their manhood that they need to resort to that type of chest thumping?
