STS Tires

I am looking at getting a new set of tires for the STS classed MR2 I am codriving.

Anyone try the new Falken RT615-Ks yet?

When are we going to get a test in the magazine?

I'm ordering a set of the K's for the season. I'll let you know how it goes in ~2 months!

Is this tire available yet and in what sizes?

Discount Tire has an $80 rebate on purchase of 4 of the old version, but I haven't seen the new version for sale anywhere yet.

I haven't seen anything out there either, Vulcan tires is not specific about what version they have in stock so I have to assume its the old one.

I have been pretty happy with the kumo's so far maybe I should keep things the same...

I wish I could afford to conduct my own tire test....

I'll be interested to hear what you have to say about them... about mid-summer I'll be needing new a-x tires for the CRX .... started out on 215's ... wouldn't mind going back to Falken's

just to bad Edge Racing went out of business they always had great prices on Falken's

What size?

depends on the cars you race against.

I had sumitomo htr200 tires on my STS Miata. I was second place (to a guy who "shoulda" been in a different class)
