Subaru WRX Concept

I see lots of Toybaru in the styling.

Holy crap that looks awesome.

I like it! And that design lends itself well to having a hatch put on it.

My wife saw it and thinks it is flirting with me.

Not bad. Suffers from the "get off my lawn" beltline up around the armpits a bit...

Subaru fans (myself included) have been waiting for this and it looks like they got it right. I know its just a concept but usually they release a new model/restyle which is kind of weird then they get it right in a year or two. Two thumbs up Subaru on this one.

Looks good, and no fish mouth! I think they're taking more from the Lancer/Evo than the Toyobaru though.

First refreshing Subaru design I can even remember. It's night and day different than their other recent efforts (Tribeca, anyone?). I wonder who they brought in to style it?

It looks good, I hope that it is not huge.

The front overhang looks impossibly short considering the engine has to fit there. Makes me wonder if they pushed the tranny back a bit.

Wow, this has a chance at being the first truly good looking WRX. Hopefully the final design is close to what this looks like.

They've always been great cars but homely......it would be pretty cool to have our cake and eat it too.

How long before every fanboi on the road has yellow rings around their exhaust?

I love almost everything but that trunk. Not that it matters as I am fully expecting Subaru to blandarize and uglify it before its released to production.

To be honest, I don't think its that bad compared with most of subaru's latest styling, but its too busy looking, For example, it looks like someone forgot to order the right size box flares, so it has box flares on its box flare, and the paint looks like they're trying to lure twilight fans to it, etc.....

no doubt the lights will get more standard looking.. but I can see the rest of the car coming to production like that..
