I got my August issue today and was flipping through the pages after cleaning the garage this evening. I open up page 22 and what a shock - It's a super sneaky spy shot of Doris!

Ok, step back, Doris is the "driver training" car (auto-x, HPDE, and general hoon mobile) for the Georgia Tech Wreck Racing Team. She's a EDIT: 1991 BMW 318i who was donated to the team by an alumnus a few years ago.

Apparently, David Yando spotted her from the Ikea behind our shop and snapped a picture. She is, of course, sporting some classy Grassroots Motorsports stickers and wound up in the "Stuck on You" column this month, much to our surprise. She certainly appreciates the comment on "good taste". Thanks to all concerned.

FYI, she's done well into triple digits at AMP (full course) and is a drift machine on the auto-x course.

A few pictures from some of her outings:

Special thanks to all of our sponsors, particularly Atlanta Motorsports Park, Forged Performance, Siegel Racing, and the Palacio Family, who made it possible for us to get Doris out on track.

Congrats! Wait, you're shop is behind the Ikea? That's it. I'm stopping by next time I'm loading up on swedish furniture and cinnamon buns.

Sure. Let me (or any of the other WR guys) know and we'd be happy to show you around.

Wreck racing has their own race instruction car? Awesome!

And a big thanks to Charlie and the rest of the Forsyth family for donation of this wonderful instructional aid back in early 2010. It has been a huge help!
