Some of you guys will know better than I. Seems to me that as a 97 Grand Sport, it would be. But it kinda doesn't look right to me for a 97.

OK. I thought it was an earlier model, but don't know them well enough to be sure. Would also explain the lack of supercharger bragging. Thanks for the info and help!

It's a great car if you happen to like a soft, squishy, understeering pig of an example of mid-90's GM mediocrity.
Geez, I'm being awfully negative today. Lighten up, Jerry.
Okay, how about this:
It's a great car if you happen to like that kind of thing. Just not my cup of tea, that's all.

Chuckle, and I'm getting old enough that this sort of thing is starting to grow in appeal to me.
In reply to jstein77:
You could describe my 72 LTD in a similar manner. I could care less because I actually enjoy driving it too. Not every car needs to be a sports car to be fun.
We have the four-door version of that same car, well technically my son drives it but (as I frequently remind him) it is really just an extra car for the family.
Good car, comfortable, quiet, reliable so far. The Series II 3800 is actually fairly powerful and cruises nicely on the highway. Don't expect the "Gran Sport" (no "D") to handle like a BMW and you will be fine.
I'd love to find one that clean period let alone for that money. All the two door regals of that vintage I've found are trash and double that price. I'd rock one over a Miata any day.

I'll bet I'm older than you are.

Swap in a few suspension parts from the first 90's GTP or Z34 you stumble across in the junkyard- as don't forget the 16x8 wheels and 245/50 tires from the GTP- and you'd have youself a pretty good cruiser with a decent enough suspension to make the daily commute fun after swapping in the supercharged engine.
