They LOVE boost. 500hp has been done countless times on a stock block with a turbo. I'd rather run a supercharger and get a more predictable effect. I also prefer the whistling sound of a supercharger over a turbo.

Whistle is centrifugal, Whine is positive displacement, and Whoosh is Turbo.
Seriously, you have an M50, turbo the berkeley out of it. You can always turn boost down for track days(thus making it behave better)

I don't track it as of yet, just a fun, nicely put together DD street car. I'm pretty set on a supercharger.
