I had a set of those that were unbranded. They were very very light, but also very flexy and IMO not safe for the track.

I've heard a lot of rumors about them. The most interesting one is that the company that was being outsourced by Bride japan stole the designs and started selling them under the bride Canada name.
Apparently it was confirmed by a few people in the industry. Which might mean equal quality at a much lower price. Anyone else heard about these?
