As in, yep, guess what's under recall. I received a letter that my 2005 Mustang is under recall to have the driver's airbag replaced because it can create shrapnel if triggered. The parts aren't currently available. They'll send another letter when they are. And this is apparently the second recall, they now have to replace the replacement parts too, but I never got the first recall.
I called the local dealership, and he told me the car was fine as long as it hadn't spent a lot of time in Florida. Which is funny because I'm in South Georgia, but I'm sure that state line keeps the humidity out, right?
Anyway, I thought the other Mustang owners around here might want a heads up. You may want to check your VIN with Ford and find out if you're affected.
