The dealer we bought the Seltos from was great but again inventory is crap.
University Kia in Durham NC is where we got the wife's 2023 Soul. We special ordered it, although it's just an LX trim with no add-ons but we were able to get them to not add any of the dealer mark-up BS and none of the extra crap like window tint, nitrogen filled tires, door edge guard. We just paid sticker price plus doc fee and tax/tag.
They initially told us 3-4 months for it to come in but it showed up in about 4 weeks.
Overall they were good to deal with and didn't try to play any games after it showed up.
I paid sticker and a reasonable doc fee plus my local TTL and got a good call on my trade car ($500-1000 better than was offered elsewhere). Castle Kia in McHenry IL (Western burbs of Chicago). It was an overall great experience. I had a very good rate at my credit union and they offered me a better rate (4.49/72) with Kia as well.
I found one in Aurora Chicago-burbs. They are "only" selling at $1000 over msrp.I toldher last night when you want to actually sell it let me know.
Two local dealers have a black and the steel grey. Black one is the same dealer we bought the seltos. Waiting to hear back from our salesman then and waiting for he other to respond to last nights email.

Gravity Gray. Same basic color as our last 2 Fortes. hides dirt a little better than black.

That was part of the deal with the devi.... I mean wife. No mods. Mods mean I sell the Rio. So other than a set of wheels and winter tires this fall after I sell some of my 4x100 stuff that's it.
Bu yes... after she's forgotten about the deal a few years down the road a tune is definitely in the plans. Wheels I plan to accidentally order some 18x8.5 to put the PS4 onto and run winter tires on the OE wheels. So I will be shopping for a good looking 18x8.5 that complements that color.

Dang. My favorite part of GRM is seeing these weird cars no one thinks about being modified.
Well that probably means it will be super reliable and a good car
In reply to Opti :
that's the justification. A nice, reliable daily to get us to retirement and a little beyond. But something that stirs the soul a little.
EDIT: and has all the goodies.
In reply to FSP_ZX2 :
E36 M3... missed this the first time.
So mine will be in Indy Friday evening. We pick up on Saturday.

If you're like me--ask them to not drill your front bumper when they PDI the car, and use a tow hook front plate mount. I used the one suggested on the GT FB page--it says its for a BMW, but it worked fine and was way less ($20) than the Platypus/Cravenspeed one ($100)
Front Plate Tow Hook Bracket
I ended up having to order a factory front plate holder for mine, because they drilled the bumper before I bought it. That stupid thing was more than the tow hook mount!
In reply to FSP_ZX2 :
We don't have front plates here. But the car is coming out of Illinois so it might already be drilled. If so I'll get something like I did on the Rio.
In reply to FSP_ZX2 :
That's brilliant. Mine is a Quebec car and I've been driving it without a front plate for a year because I didn't want to drill into the bumper
