Talk me out of a 911 997.1/2 Turbo.

Holy freaking tar is this thing loud. Like a dump truck with dump exhausts. Its almost agricultural. I left my other ones stock and I did not notice it that much during the test drive as I was amped up.

I knew that with the head and intake manifold porting it would be loud, but add in the headers and the race exhaust and you can hear this thing from like a mile away. I am going to be pulled over on the way home I can feel it.

Car to be destickered and detailed tonight then photos.

Every time this thread pops up to the top I chuckle. I mean really? Talk you OUT of a 911 turbo?

Really no wrong answer, I am like a dog chasing a squirrel does not matter which one I get as long as I am happy to get it. FYI once I sell one of the classics I have a feeling that I will get a Turbo or a GTS so that I can get to work and back. Kind of out of space in the garage right now and still have to build out a kitchen for the wife in the next couple months.

This guy is a phoney, and a liar. There's no pictures of his "new car." Plus, this thread was supposed to be about buying a 911, and he buys a "Viper." What a scam.

They do have an interesting exhaust note when there isn't much restriction. I like it.

I'll be in San Diego on April the 14th getting a new winch bumper for the Motovan. I'd love to come see the Viper in person. I can be a dick for a couple of posts and say obnoxious things if that's what it takes to get the offer extended to me personally.

FYI I really want to bring something like this to the 2016/7 challenge and watch a minivan full to the brim with N02 blow it out of the water in the quarter and a jeep with no doors beat it in the autocross.

Just so we are clear they only made a single ACR in snakeskin with the black strips with the 2010 wing and upgrades. So its my car.

Getting some stuff done at the office and still sick so have not had time to write anything up. Stickers are off the car. Could not save them though.

Is so freaking dirty right now took it to a show this morning then helped my dad fix a few things around his house. Its covered in hand-prints. Let everyone who want to sit in it and touch it, you would think that they have never seen a viper.

Seriously though, it looks better without the stickers. I'm surprised at how different the green looks in the shade. I love the contrast with the Caddy.

It is a grand hoax. All for my entertainment. If anybody doubts it they are more then welcome to buy the next set of tires for it. The green is growing on me, I still want a white/red tri-color car but this is significantly more rare in terms of color and its a 2010 so it got all the updates.

FYI I put my papers in for a Ford GT. Got to see one in the flash and it is beautiful. Not going to get one though based on other collectors and people I know who want it as well. I have friends with more CSX registered cars then I have and multiple GT's in there collections and they don't think they are getting one. Can dream though, people I know are saying 447K for the car, no options but paint and interior color. Plus hearing only 600-640hp. I would take a used Aventador over it and save the cash. Not going to appreciate but at least you can drive the thing.

Saw something earlier, they are making 500, 7000 people are already on the list to purchase.
