My boys think it's super cool that daddy drives race cars, they've done projects at school about it, etc... They desperately want to race too. I think that's great and it's very humbling... It would probably change their mind if I told them racing will eat up all their money and they'd never get to buy a video game or new skateboard.

No. He's my favorite pilot and was not at all amused with the wreck. Glad to see both were OK. My sons are kike me. They like racing, hate the wrecks. Don't understand why anyone likes seeing potential pain like that.
Anyway, it was towards the end of the race. Can't remember when, though. Can't wait until they are old enough to pit for me. Now to figure out when I need to build the karting budget.
My son is 7, and he's already talking about how I'll be co-driving in his rally car when he gets older.
