I am lowering my expectations for one of my builds. I came to the realization that it is better to show up with a lesser vehicle then to bite off more than I can chew given my current work situation.
You saw what is being pushed back here to $2018. Don't stress out.
I have a bunch of the big stuff done... just a matter of everything else needing purchased and installed.
I only need to sell 1 big ticket Item to get there so can't give up yet. 2 month's out.
My project has gone from "Go fast and look cool" to "Please-please move under your own power for 2000 miles".
You guys need to step back and remember this is supposed to be fun, right?
Show up in junk and enjoy.
I have to figure out something that will run 4500 kilometers one way...

This is the main reason I bought a beater Miata. If the challenge s10 doesn't make it, the Miata should, if I can keep it under budget.
