I am waiting for my bailout, too. I bought a reasonably priced home a few years back and have been (responsibly) fixing it up, one thing at a time- of course this means I am ineligible for the $8000 government handout. 2 of 3 of our cars are paid for and in good repair, and none of them are clunker worthy, so I get $0 there, too.

I guess I should be happy that my tax dollars are being so wisely used. Oh, wait. :|

I love the fact that the Lincoln Town Car is eligible for every year from 1990 to 2001 except for 1993....WTF, what was different in 1993....I have owned many of these and 93 is exactly the same as 92 and 94.

Was it a berkeleying raffle?

This would have sold easily for $6k or more... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qj5gzvGnGP4&feature=player_embedded

Its stupid for someone to be so lazy that they wouldnt even try to sell it rather than turning it in to be scrapped and getting at least $1k or so less than what its worth,.
