What would it take for me to schedule an appointment?
Would I need a Honda VIN? I suppose I could get that off an ebay or autotrader listing?

How many vehicles do you think they can service in one day?
Wouldn't it suck if they lost a full days worth of service income because Friday, July 12th was completely booked with appointments and all those appointments did not show...just sayin'

Would the lost income be greater than than the price of a Fit trans?

No VIN needed. It's funny you should say that, because the Integra is due for a timing belt and water pump, and I don't have anything else going on Friday, July 12th.

Do you have a Honda? What are you doing on Friday July 12th?

Also, I don't know, but I've been told, multiple simultaneous burnouts sound really good in the "vortex."

How many miles? Have you kept up on the maintenance? Is it time for a scheduled service? Affected by any recent irregularities?

Are you past due for your 30,000 mile transmission flush, filter, and fluid change? Even if it's a manual, Honda strongly recommends it. It's even listed in the little drop down box!

Apparently, Honda trannies are known to puke fluid at 36k! And you CAN'T buy a new one...ANYWHERE!!! If you have a $1600 Honda Fit tranny, it's like a license to print money, y0!

2011 Accord LX 5-Speed base model. I just turned 53,000 miles today and I have owned it for 27 months and 2 days. I don't use my local dealer (Honda of Lisle) as they treat me like crap. I am anal about maintenance and I do all the work myself.

I change the oil @ 4,000-5,000 miles - always a Honda filter/crush washer with synthetic Mobil 0W20 oil bought at Walmart. I changed the manual tranny oil @ 40,000 miles with Honda oil. Rotate the original tires every 10,000 miles. I put air/cabin filters/wipers in every 12 months.

Too much? Yes, but I need to max this baby out 10+ years.

Poop, sorry for all of the crap that Honda put you through. It seems that Hennessy Honda of Woodstock really sucks.

Welcome to the Mazda crew. As noted before, we have rotaries. We also have an excellent amateur racing program. http://www.mazdamotorsports.com/

It does not suck. You can buy a new transmission at a very reduced cost, even if you blew that sucker up racing. Mazda wants you to be happy. Unlike, say, Hennessy Honda of Woodstock, who will destroy your transmission and then deny that there are any new ones available. Hennessy Honda of Woodstock sucks like that.

I think many of the suspension components from a Mazda3 will fit on the Mazda5, too.
