I see talk of racing in the rain, might be OK for a road course but not on an oval. Even Indy cars don't run an oval in the rain. Those walls are too hard even with the safer cushions.

The only thing I would change is have most of the races become "Twin" races with few exceptions. Basically, instead for having a 500 mile/lap race, Have Twin 250s. Qualify for the First race and set the field for the second race with a 30 minute break. Award Money and points for each race. The Exception would be the opening at Daytona, The Cola Cola race, and the Last race, which would be 600,700, and 600 mile Doulbe point races.
Was at COTA today. There must have been HUNDREDS of people there. Great show but a lot of downtime for under 2 hours of total race time.
We need to get more people at these events or there won't be that many more of these events.
The switch to radial tires and the resulting very small slip angles has killed the visual dynamics of racing in most series for me. Yes, even the road courses! Even the Australian Super Cars lost a lot when they quit lifting the inside front wheel at every corner!
I would like to see more dynamics/movement. I think less down force and harder tires would be a huge improvement. Have a spec spring rate on the outside rear.
