To cruse the beach
To "cruse" on the beach

Yep, that's the wife's choice

Yeah.. .whatever... Jeep. Newest one you can afford... actual model is not relevant... hell, for beach bumming, even an automatic would do.
A Thing would be neat too...
The 911 bodied VW is just silly...

I mean... where would you put the cooler full of beer???
Here are some of my choices. Jeep Wrangler, Chevy Tracker/Suzuki Vitara, Isuzu Amigo, Toyota FJ (older version), Dune Buggy/Manx, Cherokee XJ with the doors removed.

I want to know what powers it
I can't believe our collective strangeminds didn't think of this... I mean, comon, Subaru even made an ad with it on a beach.

How aboot a SJ! (senior Jeep)

You couldn't remember the Code name, you said XJ, that's the Cherokee. YJ was the first Wrangler. I was just helping you along.

What is up with those wheels?
No fondness for Subaru here, but I will never forget a friend of mine blowing through deep snow in one with bald tires. That thing was unstoppable.
I will supplement my original mini moke idea with a Gen 1 Bronco
but in all honesty a 4 cylinder auto wrangler may be the beach ticket.
Oldtin beat me to it, hovercraft ftw!
Hard to go wrong with the Brat though, I want one of those for non-beach usage even.
