Sitting at a dealer, may be trading in the 9-7x. Potential replacement still AWD, under 10hp less but significantly quicker. If deal happens update happens. Guess away

N/A. No blue ovals.
Just got home, car shopping wears me out. It was 3 hours less an ordeal than the truck.
Hint: same color as my truck

Falls motor city in cuyahoga falls. A+, i told the kid i was not playing the waiting game like we did with the truck. They were spot on blue book with the trade, offered exactly what i was expecting. Wooster is where the truck came from, they were nice but small so they had one finance person. Falls has 3 so there isnt a giant queue waiting.
Actually went with a Journey as number one on the list but the 3rd row is worthless and it was very awkward inside. The 2nd row doesnt flip forward for 3rd row access so you need to climb over, and nobody older than 7 or 8 is fitting back there. Cargo space was unimpressive and it's narrow so the kids would be able to pick at each other. Then we looked at the chargers and Carli was timid on them until she saw the trunk size. It's almost B bodyesque. Kid seats fit nice, plenty of room in trunk for stroller plus luggage, and the thing has balls for days for a v6. I wanted the AWD for her in the snow, and they had one priced more aggressively than any other dealer. If it was for me I'd have gone R/T but the 6 is way quicker than the Snaab and she likes it.
Plus hellcat spoiler, thats going to look sweet.

I actually titled the Impala for the first time on Friday. I have been holding it as a backup car and have not driven it a mile since the day I brought it home. Luckily, I have not needed a backup until this week when the Focus went down.
Nice! SWMBO's sister has one just like that and I'm shocked at how nice the newer Chrysler (well, FCA I guess) products have gotten - rather nice place to be inside.
I wouldn't mind taking an R/T for a drive sometime
I was thinking r/t but the claims on the 6 are mid-hi 14's in quarter mile. Thats darn quick for a daily mommy car. I don't doubt it, it launches hard and pulls nice. Dare i say v8 torque level feeling, probably due to gearing? It makes the v8 9-7x feel like a dog. The sad thing is it's as quick as my LS swapped impala SS. Heads/cam time, her daily can't be faster than my toys
Those thing will door bang with a well driven Fiesta ST ;) the pentastar is no joke and those things are seriously nice cars now. A V8 one was high on my list, but I gotta have a manual.
Looks real nice! The 3.6 is shaping up to have a pretty good rep from what I've seen. The 3.6 in my Caravan scoots pretty good for such a heavy machine. And on a few freeway trips this summer I was pulling 26-27 mpg for a few hundred miles at a time. Those are hand calculated numbers btw.
I was flat out impressed with the rental we had. We had 4 people In it for 400 miles, it was super comfortable and had loads of space. I was also impressed by the V6 and mileage, sounds like a good buy!
The super low 1st in the 8 spd probably makes real use of the AWD system. I know i had ~31" tall truck tires howling good in the 3.6 ram i drove a while back.
I have a very positive impression of the current gen v6 Charger. Happy to see i'm not alone here in that!
