Found a snake curled up in a corner by the door. Scared the crap out of me so I threw it in the woods then I was pissed after realizing there are only garder snakes in this area and it was probably eating all the mice that got into the garage.

On occasion, I find parts and or tools that I either forgot I had or misplaced and consequently replaced. Then I have two, which I promptly put where I lost the first one. Before long I have three.
The last time I completely cleaned my shop, I ended up with 16 funnels, 5 oil filters for the T-bird, a second set of rear suspension bushings for the FB and 3 framing hammers.
The last time I needed a funnel, I could only find one. The last nail I needed to drive, I had to use a ball peen.
Must be time to clean the shop.

Dehydrated or mummified?

In my mind it was the easy way. Didn't have to do any work to find it, just minding my own business mowing the lawn and CLANG, free swaybar!
Maybe it was hard for the mower...

Probably same difference-- they seem to be mostly water.
No good for jerky.

Piano, X-ray camera,55 gallon barrel of rocks, a dresser with the drawers full of blocks of candle wax that had...sagged... a bit in the Texas heat, mummified bats, and I am still not done!
Big ditto on finding room!
Before!
During!
Didn't get pics of it completely empty as I immediately started on wiring, workbenches, air and a lift!
If you ever get the chance to read the original fairy tales from a set of 1919 encyclopedias (found a box full)...they are not the cute things you see on Disney videos.

I didn't know they were able to package a DDT like that. Don't open it, I'd guess it's similar to a can of whoop-ass
Used to buy DDT in the hardware store along with carbon tet and the really good electrical contact cleaner. Probably still can in China.
