i'm not sure anyone here has any accord love, but particularly the v6 kind can be mixed and matched pretty good, and they can handle too, tl/rl brake upgrades are possible... not the best aftermarket but has a decent one, any input, i have an 02 tl-s and i've been getting into the honda j series lately, pretty stout and you can mix and match to turbo or n/a combinations that are really fun...

I've had four Accords, two fours and two V6's. I have loved them all, but especially the V6's. I still have those two.
Bash them all you want, but they are fantastic cars.
I had a '92 EX Coupe. It was a great car and the 4-cyl in it was plenty to get it going. Plus it looked good (IMO), and didn't look like an appliance.
Never owned one, had one friend that had one, and it was in the shop constantly. Of course, it was the only Honda that any of my friends owned that seemed to need work. He went through axles and transmissions like they were made of glass, and he drove it fairly gently. He figures that he bought the only one that had trouble, since everyone else in his family owned one and none of them had issues.
I'll note that my accord had 230k miles on it when I sold it. I bought it with ~80k. During the 5 years I owned it, other than routine maintenance, the ONLY thing that ever had to be repaired was a CV axle and the rear shocks. It was 5MT and I drove it like a 20-something retard.....
I have a sedan 2011 5-speed 4-cylinder - 40,000 mies - 19 months tomorrow. Major appliance - major miles, minor cost to the wallet.
Fun? Eh, the 5-speed helps. It works well for me and my family.
I sort of love the coupes. Pretty much the last 4 generations have been great looking cars. I even like the crosstour aestetically. I usually don't tell people these things.
Get the 2013 v6 6spd. Sick car for the price.

If you need to devour massive amounts of space without drama, it's hard to beat a V6 Accord. I've driven them from St. Johnsbury Vermont to St. Petersburg Florida many, many times. You can rip right along at 85+ for hours at a time and barely draw any attention to yourself.
Allegedly.
The Accord is a great car. It's not a sports car, but it's not supposed to be. Last Accord I owned was a '96 5spd, which was a great car. It was entertaining to drive as family sedans go. It was also rock solid. I bought it from the original owner when it had about 150k on it, sold it with 180k and still the original clutch.
The only negative thing I will say is that the current generation car is showing its' age, and has too many similar buttons on the dash. We're actually in the market now for a 1-2 year old family sedan, don't want to buy new. Comparing 2011s, I think we may lean Sonata over Accord. But I've read about the 2013 Accord and it's supposed to be top notch.

It warms my heart to hear so much support for the accord here. Usually it's the punch line for some appliance joke 'round these parts, but I've always thought it was a pretty decent option especially for a DD. The coupes have always been pretty well proportioned. The sedans have been hit-n-miss styling wise for me, but the availability of a manual transmission and a decent suspension makes up for a lot. I'm not sure I'd describe them as fun to drive, but perhaps "rewarding" instead. Certainly no penalty box.

Ive ALWAYS liked the looks of the 93-ish LX coupes...a lot of peotential there aesthetically, and performance-wise IMHO...
UNF UNF UNF DELICIOUS CB7 DO WANT.
Perhaps there should be a GRM Accord build to compare and trast with the Camry!
