The Focus RS thread got me to lookin' at Autotrader.

Look, a second-gen S40 (mechanically Mazda3/second-gen Focus) with the T5-spec engine (the 5 is a horsepower range, it's coincidental that it's a 5cyl) and AWD and the 6 speed manual. And it's not too far away.
Good thing I'm broke.
I think I won today. This is one of my normal stops, on a pretty normal day:
And in the parking lot waiting their turn:
Renault Le Car with soft top canvas sunroof. Worn and loved with awesome 3 lug wheels. I want one, but I don't.
Not the precise definition of a "unicorn" but cool to see. Right hand drive with manufacturer plates.
No pics yet, but seen a few times each summer, this morning was one of those times, a bit elusive.
Santa Claus summers in Rochester NH and he drives a tastefully lifted silver/gray Jeep.
Mostly seen on the East Rochester area, and I have never seen him when the colder weather rolls in. Must be headed to the North Pole to get his busy season started, if not maybe he's retired and heads south.
I will catch him on film at some point.
PS: Unimog spotted at the Lee NH traffic circle around 6:30 tonight.
Steve
I saw a Cobra today.
Actually, no, that's a lie.
I drove a Cobra today.
The shifter is neat. But man, do you feel exposed in there. And the windshield pisses me off to no end, it may as well be a full length/height mirror.
Also saw a yellow Carerra GT being loaded into an enclosed car transportation trailer along with an AC Cobra.
A neighbor has a Fisker Karma plugged in today. I thought these all had burned to the ground by now?

I'd rather have a Tesla than the not so frisky, but I do like the 912. Damn dude you are on a roll recently.
Beginning to think there might be to much money in San Diego. Yesterday on the way home I kid you not stuck in traffic next to me while I was in the 57 Cadillac was a matte grey 918, behind me was a brand new RR Ghost, to the side was a SL Black and about four cars ahead was a older flying cloud. We were all doing about 5 mph.

elsewhere in D.C. I'm not sure if the owner even rides it as it never seems to be moved.

Two Minis, a Volvo P1800 and a Targa...or, "The price of rusting sheet metal is BOUND to go up!"
One of the Minis was in a building that was slowly falling into disrepair on the road between Moselem Springs and Fleetwood PA. A post on the Pennsylvania Hillclimb Assn FB page disclosed the fact that it was being stored there for an ex- racer and "no, he won't sell it".
The other Mini and the P1800 and Targa is sitting in back of a house in York PA. Not only will the owner not sell, he apparently WILL threaten to shoot anybody who asks. THAT'S why I don't have pictures!
