In reply to NickD: That's a rare one. A friend's father had one new and had to fly out of state to find it.
In reply to Wall-e:
Yeah. I wasn't aware you could get the 6.5L in a half-ton chassis, so I was a little confused when I heard it, because I didn't believe that there was a 3/4-ton Tahoe Coupe.
Saw a friend of mine driving to work this morning while I was walking the dog. He apparently picked up a very original looking 356, right down to the groovy old time license plates. He also has an old split window bug that has a hand crank you can start it with.
No pics, was too busy trying to keep up with this guy. He was not wearing his antlers
On my way into work today, I spotted a red Jeep Wrangler Unlimited four-door...
It was right-hand drive.
In reply to Recon1342:
My regular mail person has a RHD JKU. They seem to be pretty common for the rural carriers.
In reply to NickD:
I saw one of those on CL one time and didn't believe it was real.
356 looks just like this, but he had the hubcaps on it. Seen him rolling in the 'mog too, but it is too loud and slow to commute in it, or so he says.
Saw a Buick Cascada today. Didn't know they existed. Sorry, no pictures as I was in heavy traffic, but it would look much better with the top down than up. With the top up it looks like someone squished it.
In reply to cmcgregor:
Yeah that Alfa. Show and display? Diplomats car? Those rims don't look that hot on it to me unfortunately. Borbets? I seem to remember that body style is from the '90s but I could be wrong.
Well this was the last thing I expected to see driving through PA. It took me a minute to figure out what the hell it was.
Passed a Rolls Royce Silver Wraith 2 the other day, just like this one:
May have been a Silver Shadow 2, there's only a slight wheelbase difference.
In reply to GameboyRMH:
I'd really love to have one of those ever since seeing the Top Gear India Special some time ago, but with an LS3 shoehorned in!

Good lord man, you should have stopped the guy and given him some kind of an award for actually having a TVR that moves under its own power!
I just passed two Lotus Europas in Cary NC. One was being towed on a flatbed trailer and the other was following, moving under its own power. Unless I missed the tow rope.
