Going in halves with a friend. I offered to carry the 10 yards cause I just wanna talk E36 M3 to him that I'm more of a man.

Anyway he's going for some spindles, calipers, and today added a Ranger bench seat. I'm needing some alternators, a distributor, and turbos/intercoolers. Anything else I should grab?

On turbos I'm looking for 1.8 to 2.5 4 cylinder turbos unless I can find a HX35. I'll trying to think of common turbos other than VW 1.8 and PT Cruiser 2.5. Any others?

For carrying I figure the little parts strapped to an antiroll bar in the back and the seat in front.

Don't know how many furrin cars your yard has, but Volvo and Saab are good bets for turbos

If there are any 88-95 chevy trucks i could use some more junction blocks off the firewall. Wire cutters and a couple 10mm screws. You should probably grab all of them, because they're good to have around.

Lots of Volvo 5 cylinders cars have turbos, and some 6 cylinders cars are twin turbo.

Thanks. I checked their inventory for Saabs but didn't think about Subaru or Volvo.

When I saw that you posted I assumed that you'd ask if I could carry an LS. I can look for those. Are they like the square bodies? I've fallen in love with the LS block mounted junction block. In fact I mounted one to the core support of the K30 last week.

Checking now. That'll get me a more modern turbo than the old 2.3 fours I was thinking. Thanks.

It's a 5 terminal block that takes juice from the starter lead and sends it to the rest of the truck. They're awesome and the basis of any wiring harness i build. I only have one left, not many of the trucks left to get them from anymore up here. Mounted to firewall on passenger side next to fuel pump relay, also a good get if you grab the plug as they work great for powering fans or pumps in custom applications

If you need cheap turbo/intercooler for smaller engines, I have a T25 in great shape and an intercooler I'd make you a good deal on.. they're in the classifieds. Otherwise, there are several "junkyard turbo" lists floating around the internet

At KRAP we once bolted seat belts to a hood and stumbled out carrying a hood full of parts for $250.

My local junkyard usually has several rolling chassises of LBC's, fiats, and alfas. I feel like if they did "all you could carry", I would simply roll out a non running MGB with a Miata engine and request swap parts in the backseat. That's probably why they never have these sales.

Holy crispy crap! Where are you that there's still a junkyard like that?

This is in Highland, Maryland. Just south of Baltimore. The owner's such a crusty, cranky old dude that I hate going there these days, but he has some cool stuff.
